Step out on another journey with Culinary Foolinary where we take you into Korea Town (Queens) Where you will find hundreds of establishments that will sell you Korean culture on a platter to enjoy the legit vittles authentic to the motherland.

Of the hundreds of restaurants in K-Town, Majang Dong one has a nice little backyard where they host tented Korean BBQ dens. Capturing a feel of late night Korea; Majan Gong will give us the pleasure of grilling an amazing assortment of vegetables and meats outside to our hearts content. With Kimchee, Galbi (Short Rib) Beef, Pork Belly, and the real KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and more on deck you can’t go wrong!
We will do all of this under the setting sun transitioning to the star lit night while sipping on some Soju; (Chum Churum is my drink of choice) talking about our favorite food stories while Frank attempts to pronounce some Korean menu items with minimal conviction or enthusiasm.
(Possibly mildly under the influence…)
There are many amazing bars and other eateries nearby that we may dip into afterwards so join us as we get our wanderlust on in Queens for the adventure of the summer. RSVP now to be down for this great event.
Also be sure to check out the Culinary Foolinary Podcast for our recaps on the past and upcoming events of this fabulous group.
As always there will be pictures taken and audio/video recordings of the deliciousness to supplement the Culinary Foolinary Site and Podcast.
• While I cannot guarantee Hyori will be in the house, Soju definitely will!
